Top upcoming smartphones!

We are already at May 2014 and we have some spectacular  smartphones already released which are supposed to rock the market share like their predecessor but we are still rolling and have some more smartphones to look at and we are going to talk about them in this article! Let us begin!

                                 1. IPHONE 6

Iphone has been in the news since the Iphone 5S was launched and rumors continue to release back and fourth, some were true and some were not!

Rumors are that the Iphone 6 will come with a bigger screen measuring at 4.7" which is a great change as the size of Iphone was not acceptable to all!

Other Rumors include a new and powerful A8 chip and a sapphire crystal screen which we all are excited about! I don't think the A8 was really necessary as the already running A7 is powerful enough.

Actually that's not enough, another Iphone along with the Iphone 6 is going to launch that is according to the rumors is going to a phablet and most probably will come with the same specs as the Iphone 6.

"I hope Apple doesn't bring the heartrate monitor!"

Both the Iphones are expected to release in September 2014!

                                      2. LG G3

LG G2 was a grand success only because of its powerful processor and camera, and I think it is still a great device but as you know no matter how powerful the phone is, the successor has to eventually come and LG is no exception!

The LG G3 will apparently have a 1440 x 2560 QHD display and  It's said to be 5.5 inches in size, which if true would amount to 534 pixels per inch.

        LG G3 benchmark

The LG G2 has a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, which is still pretty impressive, but early rumors hinted at LG using its in-house Odin processor and an octa-core version of it is tipped for the LG G3.

While the speed of the processor hasn't been confirmed, reports claim that the octa-core version will have four cores clocked at 2.2GHz and the other four clocked at 1.7GHz, which should give it a sizable boost over the LG G2.

LG G3 - LEAKIn terms of RAM the LG G3 is being tipped to come with 3GB, up from 2GB in the G2 and keeping it inline with its direct rivals.

In the UI department, the LG G3 will come with a newer revamped version which looks a little less childish and disturbing!

       LG G3 interface

The specs obviously look top notch but I would like to see a little more changes than just upgrading the specs!

                               3. MOTO X+1

Moto X is still one of the my favourite devices because of its unique features and comfortable design but where it lacks is the camera department and the overall specs which are not the best.

So here we are in 2014 and we have already started receiving rumors of its successor, the Moto X+1!

The tentatively-named Moto X+1 has appeared on benchmark site GFX bench, with an XT912A model number. While this is an identical model number to the existing Moto X, is specs suggest that we're looking at a newer, improved handset.

The processor has been bumped a lot with the new flagship coming with a 5.2in 1080p display and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. I was actually surprised to see an older processor but I think Motorola will keep the prices down and that's a good thing!

1.7GB of memory likely points to 2GB of RAM, while a 12MP camera could potentially perform better than the Moto X's average 10MP offering, which offered good  (but not outstanding) photos!

It will be great to see Motorola keeping things simple again and I hope for the best!

                                   4. MOTO E

Moto G was another spectactular phone from Motorola which also was a grand hit escially in India but Motorola is this time coming with a much more budget phone reportedly named Moto E!

moto-thin-brazil

The Specs are really low end as you can see in the Image and this will most probably give a tough to the Nokia Lumia 520!

               5. PLASTIC HTC ONE M8

htc_m8_ace_first_image_leak_evleaks.jpg

HTC one M8 is one of the most popular and powerful devices of 2014 but what we see missing in these phones is a cheaper price but HTC is listening to you as a cheaper version of the HTC one M8 is in the works!

Leaked by @evleaks earlier this month, the 'HTC M8 Ace' is now being claimed by Engadget to sport high-end specifications with a lower price tag. The M8 Ace is said to feature a 5-inch screen with full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution and be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.5GHz.

You might be thinking how it can be cheap with the same specs as the HTC one M8 but what's missing is the  "metal".

The M8 Ace's plastic unibody build instead of aluminium is said to make it sport a cheaper price tag than the flagships.

A report coming from TMT Post, a Chinese website, claims the HTC M8 Ace will be priced at around CNY3,000 (about Rs. 29,000) which is a little hard to accept as how can be there this much price cut!

I think this device will give up some of the HTC one M8 features like the Duo camera but there's no official or leaked news about it!

A closer look at the new Samsung Galaxy K Zoom!

10:11 AM Posted by phonesoldier , , No comments
Smartphone Cameras have improved a lot over the years but there's one feature that's still missing: an optical zoom. That is unless your phone happens to be the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom which has a lens that extend from the back of the camera to bring distant objects up close like a real camera, I am pretty sure this was addressed as a phone!

dsc6649.jpg

The lens magnifies up to a decent 10x, or pretty much exactly the same as last year's Galaxy S4 Zoom, Samsung's first attempt to bring optical zoom to a phone which wasn't really that successful, only because of the bulky mess that it was but these flaws are somewhat fixed in the new Galaxy K Zoom!

At 7 ounces and 0.80 of an inch thick, the K Zoom is impressively compact considering the technology on board. Samsung somehow managed to squeeze the massive camera into a smaller body by having two of the multiple lenses swing into place only when the zoom is extended; when in standby, they're off to the side.

samsung_galaxy_k_zoom_silver.jpg

The result is not really as compact as the Nokia lumia 1020 with its great 41MP camera with no optical zoom of course but it's still pretty close!

On the back of the phone or camera whatever you wanna say is the textured plastic which is based on the Galaxy S5 which helps you to get a comfortable grip and it looks good too especially from the previous year model!

Samsung also designed the dedicated shutter button smartly: It's right where it should be on the lower-right side of the phone, but it's not so sensitive that you might accidentally extend the lens while it's tucked away.

The display is not really high end, it sports a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen which is slightly smaller than the Galaxy S5! It is as you would think is not the sharpest either!

When you're using it as a phone, you'll forget it's a camera, too, but since all camera controls are on the display (apart from shutter and zoom), you'll never mistake the Galaxy K Zoom for a DSLR, or even a point-and-shoot.

Samsung also included some brand new camera features like the Selfie Alarm!

The Selfie Alarm lets you select the area of the frame where you want your head to appear; then when you turn the camera around, it'll play a tone when everything's lined up, snapping the pic a few seconds later.
It is a great feature to have which lets you take high resolution selfies!

          Dsc_1977-560

The Galaxy K Zoom also provides extra help in navigating Samsung's plethora of "smart" modes, each of which adjusts camera settings for specific scenarios (e.g. "beauty face," "macro," etc.). In Pro Suggest mode, the camera will offer up several options for taking the best pic of what's on the LCD. You can download extras anytime, and enthusiasts can even create and upload their own for others to use.

The camera also lets you separate autofocus from auto exposure, that will be a big help with people who are backlit, for instance!

As a camera, the Galaxy K Zoom holds its own against point-and-shoots, but compared to most other smartphone cameras, it's in the top of its class: Besides having the otherwise unattainable 10x zoom, the K Zoom shoots 20.7-megapixel photos and captures 1080p video at 60 frames per second. The lens includes optical image stabilization to reduce blur from camera shake, and the flash is Xenon rather than LED, which usually gives more natural light.

If you are wondering about the processor, it is a "hexacore" design, with two 1.7GHz cores and four running at 1.3GHz. It has a 2GB of RAM, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat which is more than enough as I don't think you will be playing a lot games on this particular device!

Like the Galaxy S5, the K Zoom has an ultra power-saving mode, which shuts off everything but essential functions, and turns the screen black and white.

Samsung will roll out the Galaxy K Zoom globally, starting in May. There is currently no information about a U.S. release.

Bottom line is that this is only for those who are just want the "real camera" experience like feature on a smartphone but you should know the limitations before doing so! I don't think you will use this device as your phone given the size and not so top notch specs!

Xolo Q1010i Review!

12:55 PM Posted by phonesoldier , , No comments
I was not really a fan of Indian mobile manufactures because of their lack of attention to the customers and reception problems! But as I see it, things are changing and these manufacturers are getting better especially Micromax and Xolo! For the past couple of months, they released too many smartphones but the one that caught my eye and is I think going to change the game is the Xolo Q1010i!

The specifications are good given the price that is 13k INR! Let's see how it stacks up in different aspects!

DESIGN AND BUILD.

The phone unlike the phones you find in this category feels really good surprisingly!

It consists of a matte finish back with feels smooth and is a real pleasure to hold! On the sides we have metal like looking plastic which is actually better than the ones we see on the Samsung phones!
It is still made of plastic overall but doesn't feel like one!
It is really thin and light weight and has a nice and comfortable grip which lets you go on for a while!

The phone overall has a really great build and i don't think you will have any problem with it!
It is actually I think better looking than it's biggest competitor, Moto G!

DISPLAY.

The Q1010i rocks a 5 inches 720p IPS display with a pixel density of around 294ppi which is not that the best out there but it gets its job done! The glass is actually made up of the one glass solution which results in great touch sensitivity and you can also use it wearing gloves!

Colours look vibrant, viewing angles are great and more importantly outdoor visibility is great and you will have no trouble in reading texts in direct sunlight!

The display is overall decent, not great like the Moto G ( because of the smaller display)  but you can't really notice it unless you keep them side by side!

HARDWARE.

The phone consists of almost all the connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG ( cable comes with the phone in the box ) but it lacks NFC which is not a big deal considering the price.

Internal storage is 8GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via a Micros-SD card.

It is a Dual SIM phone which is a always a welcome feature!

The phone comes with a 2250 mAh battery which can give you a full day on heavy usage!

SOFTWARE.

The phones comes with android 4.2 jellybean and on top of that we have the Xolo's near to stock android skin with some additional applications like Xolo secure and more!

But wait there is some good news here, This phone can be updated to android kitkat which is great and I think Xolo is the first Indian brand to bring it in their phones! This is I think one of the strong points of the phone!

There is more, applications like dialer and camera can be opened without waking it up by just simple gestures!

PERFORMANCE.

Performance is always a concern when it comes to budget devices but this particular device can run anything you throw at it whether it is games or heavy multi-tasking!

Specs include a Mediatek MT6582 Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor assisted with 1GB RAM which is not the best in its class but can run anything as I said! You will absolutely no lags, just install all the apps on the SD card!

The phone was surprisingly able to run games like Modern Combat 4, GTA vice city and basically any game in the play store!

CAMERA.

At last we are here, Camera! I think this is the most important and the most exciting aspect of this phone!

It consists of a 8MP autofocus shooter with a single LED flash! The exciting part is actually in the sensor used that is the Sony Exmor R Sensor which is fantastic!

The camera on this phone as expected takes great photos in daylight as well as low light, thanks to the sensor! Colours are accurate and perfect!

There are a lot of extra features for you to play with like HDR, Vertical and Horizontal panorama and much more! But you forgot something, this phone can be updated to KitKat that will allow you to use the Google camera!

TO SUM UP..

Xolo Q1010i is a great phone which you can also get at 11.5k through a local retailer! The camera and all other features are great and I think you should go for it! Moto G is ahead in performance but not that much!

The HTC one M8 vs the Apple Iphone 5S!

7:55 PM Posted by phonesoldier , , , , No comments

Two of the most popular and powerful flagships out there, HTC one M8 and the Iphone 5S are not really easy to compare because as I always said all flagships have their own pros and cons, it is totally up to you which one to choose but nonetheless i am still going to compare them! I do love the one M8 but i will be totally unbiased for this article!

So, let's find out which is the best among these two! I would have love to name this article "the battle of the flagships" but some people just don't make peace with that!

DESIGN AND BUILD!

HTC one M8 and the Iphone 5S are I think the best build phones out there and they are like running edge to edge in this category! You won't find two smartphones with more thoughtful and premium constructions than these two. Both are made of aluminum, and have an attention to detail that most other smartphones can't match.

Both the phones continue their predecessor's tradition with almost the same design and looks! While the HTC one M8 does have more metal than its predecessor, the iPhone 5S is now more well build than the Iphone 5 and is a little more fragile!

Both the phones feel comfortable in hands and are a pleasure to use!
I don't think anyone could ever compare these two in this category and declare a winner!

So, in conclusion both the phones are perfectly build and the design looks absolutely gorgeous no matter which one you choose!

DISPLAY.

Both the phones have ultra sharp display but here actually we have a clear winner, let's see!

The HTC one M8 rocks a 5.1 inches Super LCD3 1080p display (441ppi) which is really bigger than the Iphone 5S! The display looks perfect, colours are vibrant, viewing angles are no problem too and i don't think you will have any doubt in outdoor visibility! Whether it is watching movies or reading books, this display can handle everything in the best way!

On the other end, the Iphone 5S consists of a 4 inches Retina display with the pixel density of 326ppi!
Display is an absolute pleasure to look at but i think watching movies on a 4 inches display could be tricky!
It looks ultra sharp and is too bright!

When you look at them individually, you will notice no difference at all but the change comes when you compare them side by side! The HTC one M8 display blows off the Retina display of the Iphone 5S with a much crispier and vibrant display!

HARDWARE.

In the hardware section, these both phone have totally different perspective and different goals to focus at!

While we do have all the connectivity options on both the devices, the Iphone 5S doesn't have NFC!
On the brighter side, the charging capabilities of the 5S are much more faster, this phone charges really fast because of the smaller battery and the "lightning" cable!

But because of the smaller battery, you have to charge this phone twice or maybe thrice a day if you are a heavy user! Iphone 5S comes with a 1560mAh battery that is not quite sufficient and drains out really fast!

On the other hand, the HTC one M8 comes with a considerably bigger 2600mAh battery that is capable of giving you a day or maybe more than a day on heavy usage especially if you use the ultra power saving features!

The HTC one M8 also gets the advantage when it comes to storage! The Iphone 5S storage is limited up to 64GB if you buy that model which is extremely costly! The one M8 however comes with a 16GB/32GB internal memory which is expandable via micro SD up to 128GB!
So if you like to carry around a lots of stuff with you, the one M8 is a clear choice!

Another area where the one M8 gets an advantage is the Speakers which as I always said are the best you can get right now! The BoomSound speakers on the one M8 are just phenomenal and crushes the extremely small ones find on the Iphone 5S! Let me tell you that once you get used to the speakers of a HTC phone, you can't seriously go back to any another device!

The one place where the Iphone 5S gets an advantage is the fingerprint sensor which really has a charm of its own that is not found on any other device even the galaxy S5!

The clear winner again is the HTC one M8 which offers much more hardware features! The fingerprint sensor is not that useful and you kinda of stop using it after a month or so!

SOFTWARE.

Again we are going to skip the software category because here also it is a whole chapter and a never ending fight between IOS and Android!

PERFORMANCE.

Performance is no trouble on either phone actually with both coming with the top notch specs!

The one M8 comes loaded with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad core clocked at 2.3ghz with Adreno 330 assisted with 2GB RAM which are more than sufficient whether it is gaming or multitasking!
I actually never faced any lag on the last year's HTC M7 if you are thinking to buy that!

The Iphone 5S however comes with the super powerful Apple A7 chipset clocked at 1.3ghz dual core with 1GB RAM that is equally capable of running anything you throw it! Actually this chip is technically powerful than the Snapdragon 801 but you won't find any differences!

The performance is similar on both the devices! You can go for either one!

CAMERA.

Camera is actually where the game is little one sided as I see it!

The HTC one M8 comes with 4 ultrapixel shooter with a dual LED (dual tone) and a depth sensor for a little extra fun! The front facing camera has also a little surprise! It is a 5MP shooter which is incredible by the way and clicks awesome selfies or anything! The primary camera does clicks some nice photos but the missing thing here is details! You get the idea of the camera when you zoom in the photos you have taken which lacks details!

The Iphone 5S actually plays in here at last with its 8 MP, dual-LED (dual tone) flash that is by some considered the best camera in a smartphone if we rule out the Lumia 1020! The camera is not the best but it is great and way better than the HTC one M8!

But when it comes to low light photography, the HTC one M8 takes the edge with its much more clear and visible low light shots whereas the Iphone 5S fades away!

You can actually record slow mo videos on both the phones! You get more customization on the HTC one m8 however!

Let's take a look at the sample shots!

Iphone 5S on the left!

As you can see in the first sample comparison, the Iphone 5S produces way better images but in the second one that is taken indoors, the HTC one M8 performs better!

But overall the Iphone 5S camera is better!

TO SUM UP..

Both the phones are incredible powerful and capable in their own ways! I don't think I can decide a winner here, so it is totally up to you which one to go for as now you have a better thinking on these two!

Would you ditch a Nexus 5 for $50?

10:39 AM Posted by phonesoldier , , , , No comments
I am actually here talking about the OnePlus one release that basically caused an explosion in the technology world with its price and ultra high end specs!

OnePlus one after a lot of rumors was finally launched and the price is the major point that everyone is talking about! So, the question that came into my mind was WHY WOULD I DITCH A NEXUS 5 TO SAVE $50? but that is not that little price when it comes to different markets like India where this difference could result in 3k difference! So let's find out the answer to this question but first let's take a look  at the specs so that you can get a better idea!

The OnePlus One features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (8974AC) platform with a quad-core 2.5GHz Krait 400 CPU, 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The display is a 5.5" full HD JDI-made, resulting in a pixel density of 401ppi. In the performance field, the phone is already beating the nexus 5 as you can see!

The OnePlus One runs CyanogenMod 11S based on Android 4.4 KitKat. UI is flat and minimal. There are also a bunch of custom themes and icons specially made for the device. It is not the best android skin out there but it is not that bad and can be accepted.

  OnePlus One review

OnePlus put a great deal of effort into the design of the One and its hows. The company tried materials such as stainless steel and aluminum for the One, but with a weight of 198g and 175g, respectively, was unacceptable. As a result, the team chose magnesium for the build of the phone and it brings down the weight of the phone to 162 grams. In fact, OnePlus claims this is the lightest 5.5" smartphone in the world.

The One measures 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9mm with the edges of the phone measure 4.6mm. At the bottom, there are dual stereo speakers and popular audio company JBL helped for their fine tuning which could really interesting once it releases!

        OnePlus One review

At the back, the OnePlus One features a 13 MP Sony IMX214 Sensor with 6 Lenses and f/2.0 Aperture. The camera can record 4K video. The camera is capable of quick shutter speed of 0.3 seconds.

          OnePlus One review

The back cover of the OnePlus One is removable and the company is also launching special StyleSwap covers. Available in bamboo, wood, denim and kevlar, the StyleSwap covers add a dash of personality to the One similarly to the Moto X. Sadly, the 3,100mAh Li-Po battery isn't user replaceable which i think won't be necessary given the size of the battery!

The OnePlus One will launch in Q2 with Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, UK and the USA getting it first. More markets are expected to follow suit soon after.

Available in Sandstone Black and Silk White, the unlocked 16GB OnePlus One will retail for $299 (€269 in Europe) and the 64GB model will cost you $350 (€299 in Europe). In the UK, the phone will sell for £229 and £269 for the 16GB and 64GB model respectively.

Specifications are really high end and nexus 5 is nowhere when we compare them on paper! But now let's get back to the question! Would you ditch a nexus 5 for $50? Let me rephrase it, WOULD YOU DITCH A NEXUS 5 FOR A CHINESE BRAND?

Chinese brands always have the high specs and lower prices, we saw this already in the Gionee Elife E7 which was quite expensive and around nexus 5! But that wasn't really a great success!

And that's going to happen for this phone! The specs are the best i agree and better than the nexus 5 but no one would actually buy this phone just because of one thing that is RELIABILITY! This is actually the one of the biggest reasons of why this phone will fall apart! No one just yet actually trusts chinese brands no matter how good they are! People are going to praise it, like it but will eventually buy the nexus 5 because the trust factor is still missing! Same happened to Gionee or Xiaomi!

The next thing because of which people are going to avoid this is the after sales support! There's no customer support in these brands at all! A fair example of this is Oppo which is terrible in after sales support!

The main thing is that if people are not going to buy these phones, companies won't invest and it will eventually shut down! I don't think it is about the phone anymore, it is just about the company that provides it!

So the answer of that question is still a no only because the company is not trustworthy!

But if we talk about the phone alone, it is incredible and has absolutely no comparison! If the reasons mentioned above are resolved, It is going to change the definition of flagship!

The Finale: The Nokia lumia 1320 vs the HTC desire 816!

In one of my comparisons, I declared the Nokia lumia 1320 as the best mid range phablet in the market but now the situation is changed when it comes to competition as HTC launched their 5.5 inches desire 816 retailing at the price of 24k!

The desire 816 already won in its comparison with Sony Xperia T2 ultra in my recent article and now it's time for the final battle of the best mid range phablet! Let us begin!

While on the brighter side, you do get price benefit when you opt for the Nokia lumia 1320 which is retailing at the price of 20k! But we are going to compare them head to head!

DESIGN AND BUILD!

At first glance you would've thought that the HTC Desire 816 was a high profile handset. At 156.6 x 78.7x7.99mm and 165.5g it's is surprisingly comfortable to carry around. In fact, it is slim and light for a phablet. On the downside, the phone is made out of polycarbonate plastic rather than lush aluminum, unlike the HTC One M8. The back is I said before is a little slippery and the side is matte which tends to get dirty sometimes! The design overall is fantastic given the price!

The Lumia 1320 looks more or less similar to traditional Nokia made devices. It has a straight forward design but a bit chunk at 164.2 x 85.9 x 9.8 mm and weighs 220g. The back of the lumia 1320 has much more grip while using for a longer period but it is not that attractive especially the black one which is really ugly and you should avoid that colour or always use a cover while using that colour!

The design points go to the desire 816 which feels and looks much more premium!
While on the other hand, the material points go to the lumia 1320 which is much more comfortable to hold!

DISPLAY.

The display again surprisingly is similar in both the devices that is 720p which looks a lot different on both the devices!

In the field of outdoor visibility, viewing angles or colour contrast, both phones are fantastic and have incredible display!

The Lumia 1320 uses ClearBlack technology which improves the contrast of the display and reduces reflections.

Display is not that great on either phonesbut when it comes to pixels, the desire 816 is the winner but when we compare them in reality, the case is almost similar and there is no difference at all!

If you are a reader and love to read on the go, the lumia 1320 is better with its ClearBlack technology and bigger display!

HARDWARE.

When it comes to hardware, both have all the connectivity options and neither of them lacks in them!

But when it speakers, you know who the winner is! The HTC desire 816 boomsound outruns the Nokia lumia 1320 at a much higher level and it is still the best in this range!

However when we talk about battery,
The HTC Desire 816 has a 2600mAh battery fitted inside, which the company claims to run for a longer duration.

The Nokia Lumia 1320 features a 3400mAh battery which can keep this beast for some more extra hours.

So in conclusion, the battery on the Nokia lumia 1320 is better than the desire 816! If you are a moderate user, you can even get two days on the lumia 1320 which is great to have!

Both devices have 8GB of internal memory space. However, the Desire 816's 8GB of ROM can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.

In case of the Nokia Lumia 1320, a user can expand the internal memory up to 64GB via a microSD card slot.

The HTC Desire 816 support Dual Nano SIM (GSM + CDMA GSM), whereas the Nokia Lumia 1320 doesn't support a dual SIM connectivity.

Both device have their own pros and cons, if you want entertainment, the desire 816 is better but if you want a longer run , the lumia 1320 is better!

SOFTWARE.

On the software side, it is totally up to you, which one you like better and I am not really going to talk about it that much as it would result in a battle of windows phone and android!

Both operating systems and UI are great and stable!

PERFORMANCE.

The HTC Desire 816 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz and 1.5GB of RAM which performs like a beast whether it is multi tasking or high end games!

The Nokia Lumia 1320 has a 1.7GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, making it slightly less powerful when compared to the HTC Desire 816. However, it should be noted that Windows Phone 8 requires less power to run the hardware as always!

Performance is not really a concern on either device and you would face absolutely no lags!
Gaming points however will go to the HTC desire 816!

CAMERA.

Camera is the only place where we actually have a clear winner!

The HTC Desire 816 comes with a 13MP rear-facing camera with a single LED flash with BSI sensor and ability to record videos in Full HD (1080p) format. There's a 5MP front-facing shooter with BSI sensor which is great for capturing high quality selfies!

Camera as I said in my every article is great on this device! Especially in low light, the camera performs better than our expectations! Photos in almost all light conditions come out clear and detailed!

The case is totally opposite when it comes to the Lumia 1320!
The Nokia Lumia 1320 has a 5MP rear-facing camera with a single LED flash, which can shoot 1080p FHD video recording, and has a VGA quality front-facing camera which is decent for video calls!

The camera on the lumia 1320 is not up to the mark but if you are not into photography that much and take photos occasionally, it is good! Photos come out great in sufficient lighting though!

The clear winner here is the HTC desire 816 with a much more capable camera!

TO SUM UP..

Both devices perform great in day to day usage! The pros of the lumia 1320 is bigger battery, ClearBlack display is great, and lesser price (4k INR benefit) while the pros of the HTC desire 816 are detailed display and camera! Choice is yours!

Winner technically is the HTC desire 816!
So i guess we have the best mid range phablet or smartphone!
