Now, this is an app a lot of people were waiting including me since the leaked video that showed the app working on a windows phone! 

Flipkart is one of the leading online retailers from India, and offers a broad selection of products across diverse categories.

The app features a very nice user interface and easy navigation through different departments to find products. You can search for products, categories, or brands and quickly narrow down search results using Sort and Filter functions.

This app basically lets you do all the things you can do on the website in a much faster and simpler way! Actually I really felt this app was better than the one on IOS and Android!

Two days back, one of the most popular racing game on IOS was launched for windows phone which is the UBER RACER!

Uber racer is a fantastic racing game that is set in the future where mankind is burning its final resources. A few fearless warriors race for the last drops of oil.

Top 5 Apps that are still missing from the Windows Phone Store!

Windows phone store is growing day by day at a tremendous rate but there are some major apps missing from the store that people rely on in everyday usage! These apps can be actually live without but some people just can't and I am going to mention the top apps that are missing from the windows phone store! I am not going to mention google apps because everybody knows they are missing and there's simply no point in mentioning them in every article!


1. FLIPBOARD 

A lot of people on daily basis including me use flipboard as a news and magazine reader! The UI and looks of flipboard is the main reason it is famous that much! Microsoft did announced recently that flipboard is coming to windows phone and i hope it comes as soon as possible!

         



2.VSCO CAM

Second most important app that i have been waiting for is the VSCO CAM! VSCO CAM for those who are unaware is an image editing app that provides allowing us to use a vast range of live effects, location info and much more! VSCO Cam is widely used on android and ios, and given that the camera is one of the strong points in Nokia Lumia, VSCO Cam should come ASAP!

3. A BETTER TWITTER APP!

There's an official twitter app in the windows phone store but what i am asking for here is the twitter app that is available on ios and android with a much more mature UI and more features! The twitter available on windows phone is just not complete yet and needs much more finishing!

4. PEBBLE SMARTWATCH SUPPORT AND STORE! 

Pebble is getting really popular in the smartwatch world and after the release of the pebble app store, it is getting even more popularity! So a lot of customers are feeling left out as the pebble app store is right now unavailable on windows phone, there's no official announcement for pebble for windows phone but i hope for the best!

5. FACEBOOK PAGE MANAGER!

There are lot of people who are admins of facebook pages and at the same time,  a windows phone user  and because of that, they are having trouble controlling their pages on the go as there is no official facebook page manager in the windows phone store! The unofficial facebook page manager is there but it has several bugs and crashes sometimes!

Nokia Lumia 930, the key for nokia to enter the flagship market?

Windows phone is already struggling with the market share and most of its market share lies in the budget smartphones like the nokia lumia 520! 

Windows phone is not really popular in the flagship market as most people avoid because of the lack of apps! but another reason for that i think was there isn't any perfect flagship by nokia or htc or any other windows phone manufacturer! Sure, there is lumia 1020 or the lumia 1520 but these both are really not the perfect as the lumia 1020 is really bulky and heavy and lumia 1520 is really big and heavy too! 

But this situation will be changed after the launch of the nokia lumia 930 which comprises the best specs and the best design! How? let's find out by looking at its strong points that could make it a worthy rival!

    

         

DESIGN AND INTERNALS

      

First off is the design and the built quality!Nokia has been always great in the design and built quality of phones and the nokia lumia 930 is no exception! 
   
        

The nokia lumia 930 fits perfectly in hands and is a pleasure to hold with its poly carbonate design and good feel makes it really a stand out from the crowd and there's no risk of slipping it from the hands which you find on the phones with aluminium design and it is not the cheap plastic you see in Samsung or any other plastic phones like the iPhone 5c! So in design it is going to be a tough competition for others!

Nokia has also passed on microSD support instead relying on 32GB of internal storage and 7GB of free Microsoft OneDrive cloud space. That should be more than enough for most users, but there's still a strong contingent who like the microSD option, myself included.

DISPLAY

Fire up the Nokia Lumia 930 and you'll be greeted by the impressive 1920 x 1080 OLED display which is suitably bright with a high level of colour reproduction! 

       

The screen is awesome just like we saw on the nokia lumia 1520! 

The 5inch display is perfect and is not big like the nokia lumia 1520! So no problem there and has great outdoor visibility as always we see in nokia phones!

PROCESSOR AND PROCESSING...

When we talk about processor, the nokia lumia 930 comes with the 
same processor as we saw in the lumia 1520 that is a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, a decent offering but slightly behind the times as the new trio of Android flagships all sport the newer 801 chip.

That's not a huge issue as Windows Phone is less power hungry, and with 2GB of RAM also inside I found the Lumia 930 was exceptionally fast and smooth.

I had no trouble moving around the live tiles and scrolling through the application list, and apps opened promptly.

The processor is really faster as you would except and would never disappoint while playing any high ends like asphalt 8 or nova 3!

CAMERA

Nokia prides itself on its smartphone camera technology and the Lumia 930 continues that trend with a 20MP Pureview snapper on the rear with dual LED flash, OIS (optical image stabilisation) and Carl Zeiss lens.
  

    

You'll also find the Nokia camera application which has a simple user interface for those who just want a point and shoot offering, but there are professional controls available too.

Just slide the on-screen shutter key to the left and a whole series of settings including ISO, white balance and exposure will appear allowing you to fine tune your image capturing.

As well as recording full HD video the Lumia 930 also comes equipped with four microphones for what Nokia says provides an "immersive video experience and rich recording with surround sound." I'll be sure to put this to the test in the in-depth review.

There's a front facing 2MP camera on the Nokia Lumia 930 for all those selfies and Skype calls you'll be making on the handset too.

Camera quality is actually almost the same as on the nokia lumia 1520!

BATTERY LIFE

Battery life has been always a strong point for nokia and nokia lumia 930 doesn't fails too!

There's a non-removable 2420mAh battery housed inside the Lumia 930's aluminium frame and Nokia claims it's capable of 18 hours standby, nine hours of video playback or 75 hours of music playback.

It looks a bit small but it is perfectly capable of getting you a battery life of almost two days!

TO SUM UP...

The Lumia 930 is the most complete Windows Phone to date. It's the first to properly challenge the flagship might of Android and iOS with its impressive design, new Windows Phone 8.1 software and all round decent specs.

I think it is going to be a worthy rival to the existing flagships, for those who have been thinking to buy the perfect windows phone will be buying this with no second thoughts at all!

What is still missing from windows phone!

So, finally a few days back windows phone 8.1 was launched and it brought a lot of features users were demanding including the action center, home screen backgrounds, cortana, swipe keyboard and much more interesting features! But there are some features still missing that i think can still hold some customers to buy windows phone and i am here to point out the most important of them!  Let us begin!

 


1. GOOGLE SERVICES ARE STILL MISSING!

According to the recent survey, gmail services hold about 74% of market share and that is a huge share! So, in this situation with windows phone having not even a single important Google service can hold its market share to grow! Services like YouTube, blogger, gmail, chrome browser and many more are used daily by almost all, so according to me until Microsoft brings Google services to windows phone, it is not going to grow that much! Sure, according to Microsoft, these services are coming soon but until then, it is going to be a real push back for windows phone!


2. OTG SUPPORT!

A lot of people like to carry their entertainment with them all the time or connect keyboard or game controller and in this case, they use the USB on the go feature on android smartphones and that is missing on the windows phone! Before the launch of windows phone 8.1, there was actually a rumor that revealed that there is going to be otg support on windows phone but there is not and i hope it comes in the future updates! It is not going to affect the market share that much but i think it would be nice if they bring it!

3.PRINT DOCUMENTS DIRECTLY FROM YOUR PHONE!

Now, this feature is about cloud printing and if someone is unaware of that, it is actually printing using cloud functionality which includes no wires or cables and you can directly print from anywhere! This feature right comes in built in both android and ios and a lot of people like using it everyday! Sure, there are third party apps available but i think it should come in built in the future updates! This feature will be a big success on windows phone because of the office that comes in built in!



4. A FULLY FUNCTIONAL FILE MANAGER!

SD cards are supported in some of the windows phone but there is no fully functional file manager that on could use to organize its files in a lot more efficient way! There are third party apps but they miss a lot of the features! Features like unzipping and zipping a file are missing and i hope microsoft brings this features in future!







5.FASTER UPDATES TO APPS!

Windows phone store is growing everyday but the real thing that concerns me is that updates are not coming along with android and ios! For example the twitter is app is really poor in functionality and whatsapp is not that fast and misses some features! So, right now my concern is not the apps but the updates that should come along with android and ios! Microsoft should fix this and force developers to bring updates more faster!


TO SUM UP...

So those were my top missing features from the windows phone right now, there are actually more like no flash support in the browser! Windows phone looks a  lot more developed after the windows phone 8.1 but these features should come in faster in order for windows phone to compete with android or ios!

There are a lot of applications in the windows phone store now and some of these applications are just for india and are really useful in day to day life as i use these apps almost everyday! So let's find out which apps are these and what are their particular features that make them useful! Let's begin!


1.IRCTC

As we all know how much Indians travel through train and there wasn't any official irctc application on any mobile platform until windows surprises it's users by bringing a really use friendly and fast irctc app! Now when i say useful, i mean a lot useful! This app is way faster than the official site and much more user friendly!
This app consists functions like booking and cancelling tickets, checking pnr status, inserting passenger information so that you don't have to do it every time you book a ticket, this things can also synced with your windows 8 tablet or PC which is really handy and much more!
