Samsung has been getting really popular after their galaxy series released and their galaxy s series got even more popularity after the galaxy s3 was released, but at the launch of the galaxy s4 the hike was not created that much though it won in the market and yet here we are again after the s5 launched which again disappointed the geek community and this time could be their last time if the metal version of the s5 fails too! But the normal consumer would think that this phone is a beast because of its fingerprint and heart rate scanner, but do these features really gonna make a change this time? let's find out!
Samsung galaxy s5 doesn't look that different from the s4 in terms of looks however the built is little bit different but not that much as it is still plastic! The Galaxy S5 was supposed to have a metal body variant to address some of the design criticisms concerning the Galaxy S4, a 2K HD display, and a completely new TouchWiz interface. Instead, the Galaxy S5 doesn't have a metal variant (as of yet), sports a 1080p HD that's only slightly larger than the Galaxy S4's, and the new interface is a minor increment at the very best.
On the processor side we see a slightly powerful processor which really doesn't makes that much different from what we saw in the s4, RAM is still 2gb, expectations were actually 3gb as we saw on the note 3!
What else? Apple already put a fingerprint sensor in last year's iPhone 5S, making Samsung look more like a follower rather than a trendsetter. So looking at the galaxy s5, i see more of a galaxy s4S actually!
However we are already getting complaints about the accuracy and speed of the fingerprint sensor just like in the htc one max!
Well, we all have to agree that just the heart rate scanner won't make that much gap between the s4 and the s5! The galaxy s5 is water and dust proof which is actually quite cool but we are already seeing these feature in the Sony's xperia line so no surprises there!
The camera has been bumped up to 16mp from last year's 13mp which actually is really good, the advanced HDR , a quick auto focus and more are really getting good views but that wasn't what we were looking for!
The battery on the galaxy s5 which is of 2800 mAh is actually pretty good and some battery saver features can hold your phone up to 4 days as said by samsung! We will see how that works out!

Samsung still stands as the world's largest smartphone supplier, but taking baby steps instead of leaps forward could end up hurting the South Korean-based company in the long run! So what are we left with execpt a heart rate scanner, a better camera which was really not necessary, better battery and a slightly better processor! Well this stuff could surely make you realize that why the geek community was not impressed by the galaxy s5! So i guess this is it for this article!
